Frequently Asked Questions

Everything riders commonly ask before choosing a course or booking a session.

All training takes place at STAR Track, a private training track near Gwal Pahari on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road in Gurugram. The controlled environment lets you build skills before dealing with public road traffic.

Start with your riding experience. Never ridden a two-wheeler? The Beginner Course runs 4 days / 12 hours. Some scooty or cycling experience? The Intermediate Course runs 3 days / 9 hours. Already riding on real roads? The Refresher Course runs 2 days / 6 hours. Planning Ladakh or Spiti? Add the Off-Road Course. Every tier runs as a Foundation or Advanced programme.

Yes. The Beginner Course is built for complete novices with no prior two-wheeler experience — no cycling or scooty background needed. It runs 4 days and 12 hours of practice, starting with balance, controls, clutch work, braking, and slow-speed handling at STAR Track.

Yes. Motorcycles are machines with specific controls, and under the supervision of our professional instructors you learn the right skills, techniques, and pro tips to handle them. Our students range from 16 to 75 years of age — men, women, and trans riders — and our academy welcomes everyone. All you need is a strong will, dedication, and focus on the instructions given by your coach.

Not at all. STAR is a gender-inclusive facility, built on the belief that the roads — and rider training — belong to everyone. Women and men train together to the same standard, and separate washrooms for men and women are available on site.

No. STAR provides 350cc well-maintained training motorcycles with wear and tear fully covered, plus sanitised riding gear — helmet, jacket, knee guards, and gloves — and all fuel for your sessions. You only need to arrive in comfortable clothing with long pants and closed-toe shoes.

We train riders from age 16 to 75 and beyond. For riders under 18, a parent or guardian must provide consent.

No. Training begins on a dedicated, enclosed track at STAR Track. Real-world road sessions are introduced only once foundational skills are confidently built, and they are always guided.

Yes. We offer flexible scheduling across weekend and weekday batches, mostly early-morning slots from 6 AM to 9 AM at STAR Track, with afternoon and evening options for working professionals and students. Training is an outdoor activity and we are weather dependent, so timings vary with the season — share your preferred slots when you book and we will design a schedule that fits.

Most courses are completed over 2-4 days, depending on the program and slot availability. Sessions are usually 3 hours per day, and the team will help you choose a practical schedule when you book.

Yes. Training at STAR is structured, personalised, and progressive, built on the belief that riding safely is a life skill. Coaching starts at your current level, and every rider moves through controlled track stages before guided on-road sessions.

Yes. The Off-Road Course is for riders who already handle a motorcycle on paved roads and want to prepare for gravel, inclines, water crossings, luggage management, and mountain-trip conditions.

You gain access to the STAR Riders India club, three e-learning PDF modules, and a personalised consultation on the right motorcycle and gear for you.

The success rate of our Academy is 96%. The remaining 4% are trainees who have a challenge in their mind and body coordination. If the Instructor gives you specific & clear commands, all you need to do is follow those in order to graduate from our Academy with flying colours.

Yes. Parents, spouses, and friends regularly book training for someone else. Share the rider's details, experience level, and preferred schedule when booking.

We aim to confirm all bookings within 24 hours via WhatsApp or phone call. For same-day requests, we'll get back to you within a few hours.

Yes, you can reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice at no extra charge. Contact us via WhatsApp or phone to arrange a new time.
