From Techie to Rider Coach

The story behind STAR's safety-first approach to rider training

From Techie to Rider Coach

A techie-turned-marketer who chose to pursue her passion for motorcycling, Suparna built her expertise through years of riding across India and learning from accomplished off-road facilitators.

The experience, knowledge, and riding judgment gathered through these journeys shape the training methodology followed at STAR Academy and STAR Track.

A Structured Place to Learn

Suparna realised that motorcycle rider training is often not taken seriously enough in India, and that many aspiring riders struggle to find a structured place to begin their motorcycling journey correctly.

STAR Track was created as a dedicated motorcycle training space, giving riders a controlled environment to learn, practise, and grow before stepping onto public roads and navigating real-life situations.

Mentor, Safety Advocate, Community Builder

Over the past decade, Suparna has established herself as a respected rider coach, safety advocate, and community builder. Riders trust her for clear guidance, disciplined instruction, and a safety-first philosophy.

Through STAR Academy, she continues to shape a new generation of motorcyclists with a singular purpose: to ensure that every rider begins their journey where skills meet safety.

Safe Tribe of Aware Riders

Suparna also built a rider community committed to responsible motorcycling: the Safe Tribe of Aware Riders.

The community extends the STAR philosophy beyond training sessions, helping riders stay connected to responsible riding habits, shared ethics, and respect for the roads they explore.

Safety-First Training Philosophy

Motorcycling begins with mindset.

Suparna believes every rider can learn when the environment, instruction, and ethics are right. STAR trains women and men together because the road demands the same awareness, discipline, and respect from every motorcyclist.

Mindset before muscle

Suparna believes motorcycling is defined more by a rider's mindset than by physical ability. Discipline, awareness, and respect matter before speed or strength.

Inclusive by design

Women and men train together, develop the same riding ethics, and build equal respect for fellow riders. Coaching adapts to the rider, not to stereotypes about gender, age, or background.

Safety before the open road

STAR trains riders in a safe, structured environment first, then prepares them to face traffic, uncertainty, and real-life road situations responsibly.

Confidence without shortcuts

The goal is not just to make someone ride quickly, but to help every rider become safe, confident, and responsible on the road.
